First, I must give credit to Dr. Wayne Dyer. By chance, I saw his name in a Larry Winget book, then a couple days later, saw him on TV. So I dove in and bought a couple of his books. I loved them.
As you can tell by my other posts, my life has been turbulent. It hasn’t always been this way. It was pretty smooth. Not perfect, but overall, it wasn’t too bad.
To find my way through these turbulent times, I have begun reading the Verses that Lao-Tzu had written some 2500 years ago, and have begun applying them to my life today.
Why the Tao? There are many reasons. First and foremost, I lost faith in Catholosism. Losing the faith and finding the Tao was a tough change to make. It still is.
With the Tao, I can still be a Warrior. The Tao has taken away the fear of death from me. I know I will return. I can see my destiny.
The Tao is a good way to live life. With over 2500 years behind it, can it really be wrong?
There is no one standing behind a pulpit telling me how to live my life. It’s a book. If I want to seek enlightenment, I can seek enlightenment. It is my choice.
The Tao is not about pacifism, but about balance. Nothing is forced.
As I mature through this journey, I hope to come back to this page and revise it.
Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life and Living the Wisdom of the Tao are the two main books I have chosen to be my guide.
I hope you come on this journey with me.
